A. Account registration guide (A1.Register on TideBit + A2.Fill in and sign the file and email us it.):
A1: Register on www.tidebit.com
Before registration please prepare:
your company’s Certificate of Incorporation,
a valid Business Registration Certificate
a valid bank statement (issued within last three month by a Hong Kong local bank).

Figure 2: On “Register” page, please input your company email address, password, verification code accordingly and click “Create My Account” button to enter Figure 3.

Figure 3: Then a black page pop up to reminder users to complete the three-step verification. So, the first step is “Email address Authentication”.

Figure 4: In your email inbox, you will receive an email from TideBit and please click the activation link. If the email cannot be found, please try to find it in the spam folder.

Figure 5: After clicking the activation link, the page will be redirected to Figure 5. On “My profile”page, “Your Email has been verified successfully” will be shown.

Figure 6: Next step is “Two Factor Authentication”. You need to enable one of two authentication (“Google Authentication” , “SMS Authentication” ) or BOTH if you prefer to.
Note: We recommend you to enable Google Authenticator verification first and then to enable the SMS verification. Because due to the unreliable mobile signal, Google Authenticator is better.

Note: If you have lost or changed your mobile/mobile number, you can email the valid Business Registration Certificate and a valid bank statement to hello@tidebit.com. We will help you to reset Google authenticator verification/SMS verification, thank you.

Figure 8: If you want to enable “SMS Authentication”, please first to choose the region your phone registered, then input the phone number (without calling code) and the received 6-digit code.

*Passport/Identity Card Personal Information front side: Please upload a photo of a valid Certificate of Incorporation
*Passport / ID card back side: Please upload a photo of a Valid Business Registration Certificate
*Residential Certificate Category: Please select “Bank statement”
*Residence certificate photo: Please upload a photo of a Valid Bank Statement which needs to meet 6 requirements :
1. Letter in company’s name
2. Letter issued by a Hong Kong local bank
3. Letter issued within 3 months
4. Letter in Chinese or English
5. Letter in paper version , please upload the full page (A4 size)
6. Letter in e-version, please upload the full file

On the “My Profile” page, please click on “2-Step Verification Login” button in the “Login Security” part.

Figure 12: Then click on the menu in the upper right corner and select “login out” to activate “2-Step Verification Login”.

Figure 13: Re-login to TideBit. After inputting the Email and password, you will be direct to “Authentication Verify” page, which means “2-Step Verification Login” is enabled. You can use SMS verification (Figure 13A) or Google Authenticator (Figure 13B).

B. Fill in and sign the file “Sample Board Resolution TIDEBIT” and E-mail us it.
Figure 14: Please fill in and sign the “Sample Board Resolution TIDEBIT” file(Please download the attachment) in English. After that, reply the file to corporate@tidebit.com by your registered email and inform us of your application.
Your account will be verified after checking with your submitted documents, we may ask for further information or document if needed.

Now, you have completed the account opening procedure. We will email you the verification resolut within 1–2 working days.
II.FAQ:
- Q: What kind of corporate do we accept:
A: The one has a Hong Kong local bank account (including Hong Kong, an offshore company); - Q: Required Documents:
A: a. Certificate of Incorporation
b. Valid Business Registration Certificate (applicable to corporations, trustees and bodies or persons carrying on any form of trade, commerce, craftsmanship, profession, calling or other activity carried on for the purpose of gain)
c. Valid Bank Statement (needs to meet 6 requirements :
1)Letter in company’s name;
2)Letter issued by a Hong Kong local bank
3)Letter issued within 3 months
4)Letter in Chinese or English;
5)Letter in paper version, please upload the full page (A4 size)
6)Letter in e-version, please upload the full file) - Q: Non-local registered companies may not have a Hong Kong Business Registration Certificate:
A: We accept if a Hong Kong local bank account is available - Q: If the corporate account has lost or replaced mobile phone / mobile number:
A: Please email the Valid Business Registration Certificate and a Valid Bank Statement to hello@tidebit.com. We will reset the Google authenticator verification / SMS verification for you upon verification. - Q: There are three differences between opening a corporate account and an individual account:
A: a. The application is divided into two parts:

Fill in and sign the resolution “Sample Board TIDEBIT” in English (download it here) and reply it to corporate@tidebit.com by your registered email. (Figure 14)
b. You must turn on “Login with 2fa” (click here for the tutorial)
c. When completing the Identity Verification (KYC), please follow the instructions to offer required information.(Figure 10)
